Dr Anna Livermore - Senior GP Partner

Dr Anna LivermoreAnna has worked in the Ipswich area for several years and joined our practice in 2017. Her special interests include paediatrics. When she is not in the surgery Anna enjoys cooking, knitting and crochet. Anna also a talented musician and plays the Cello with the Ipswich Symphony Orchestra.

 
Dr Bella Smith - GP Partner

Dr Bella SmithBella has worked within the NHS for over 20 years and joined the Practice in 2014. Her special interests include, Dermatology, Women's Health & minor operations. Bella co-authored The Female Body Bible in 2023, an instant Sunday Times top 10 bestseller and is also an Ambassador for The Eve Appeal and frequent media spokesperson. Bella enjoys regular exercise and running. She has completed the London Marathon and even an ultra-marathon covering 50 miles.

Dr Owen ChandlerOwen joined Little St John's Surgery in 2021. He is a very experienced GP and also a keen cricketer in his spare time.

Dr Elinor WombwellElinor joined our GP team in 2021. She lives on a smallholding with her young family and a number of animals. Elinor enjoys growing things and spending time in the great outdoors.

 
Dr Lydia Yates
MBBS (University of East Anglia) 2012, MRCGP

Dr Lydia YatesLydia joined our GP team in May 2023 with a specialist interest is Cardiology. Lydia enjoys sailing on the river, paddle boarding, kayaking, or walking her dog. She also has 2 young children who keep her busy.

 
Dr Katie Eayrs
BM BCh (Oxford) 2011, MA, DCH, MRCGP

Dr Katie EayrsKatie joined the practice in 2023 and has a special interest in children's health. She is also passionate about teaching having been involved in teaching medical students from the University of Oxford throughout her training. Katie loves spending time as a family and exploring the outdoors together.

 
Dr Ruth Bushaway
MBBS (St Barts, London), MRCP, MRCGP

Dr Ruth BushawayRuth has been a GP in Suffolk since 2008 and joined Little St John's GP team in 2024. In addition to her GP role with us, Ruth is the Deputy Medical Director at the NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB and also a GP and Medical Director for the Suffolk GP Federation CIC. Ruth enjoys cycling, walking and playing netball. She enjoys reading and enjoy cooking and is also a Trustee of the Mills Charity (Almshouses) and Mills Educational Foundation in Framlingham.

Dr Stephanie SterryStephanie joined our GP team at Little St John's in November 2025. She has a special interest in Women's Health and is a British Menopause Society registered Menopause Specialist. When at home, Stephanie she enjoys taking the dog for walks and going to the gym.
